They claimed it was an invitation only event and made it sound like it was for the top 100 prospects in the region which my son likely was. We got there and they had close to 500 kids. They did not know how to properly start the 60 and had to run 6 kids at a time (only once). The scouts there started to leave before the outfielders hit (who are often your best hitters). The coaches who didn't leave went to watch the pitchers who had to start throwing before the hitting were finished. Could have been a good event but they got a little greedy with allowing too many kids. I will not go back with my next son. Not only did this event not help but it actually hurt my son who normally runs a 6.6 60 but because of a bad starter he tripped on the start and was timed at a 7.0. Several colleges who had been looking at him because of his speed did not call back. Luckily he did a college visit and ran a 6.5 and was signed. Great idea with this site.
