My Grandson, who now lives in Fort Myers, has played travel baseball in OH and FL since he was 8 years old, he has played the last 2 years in FL, he is 15 years old and is a right hand pitcher/3d baseman and utility infielder. The facility, Jet Blue Park (Redsox) was awesome and the groundscrew took very good care of the fields between games. I was highly disappointed in the coaches as I thought that they would get the very best coaches and instruct these players on pitching mechanics and etc. But, they only were there to make money, the coach of my grandson's team did not instruct or coach he left the batting order to the players and only told the pitchers which game and in what rotation they would pitch in. I know that the drills and video are important for these players as they are all trying to further their baseball career's. My grandson has had 3 universities e-mail him to tell him that they saw him play and because of NCAA rules they can not have any contact with him until after Sep 1, 2014 because he is only a Sophmore. So I think that the Showcase was successful for my grandson, but I do not know about any other players and their experience.
